We joined the society about 10 years ago after buying a new telescope. I have had a passion for Astronomy since being a teenager and the Apollo missions furthered my interest. It was good to be able to share our hobby with like minded people. The society is a very friendly group of people who are happy to help new and old members. There is a depth of knowledge with all things astronomical. There are some excellent lectures most months which are very informative as well as practical evening and telescope nights, which turn into great social occasions. Prior to Covid the society was involved a large number of outreach events. Richard & Carol
