I have had the privilege of being part of the society since 2015 after initially wondering how to get started with a newly acquired telescope, I quickly found a myriad of people from a whole range of backgrounds who were all very willing to help me develop skills and knowledge.

The monthly lectures are fantastic and the offering is so broad that there is truly something in them for everyone whether you’re interested in astronomical history, the latest cosmologial research or understanding core principles of star formation.

Wycombe Astronomical Society is also a very friendly group and the friendships and acquaintances made are lasting, empathetic and encouraging.
