About the Event
Regular members will be familiar with the concept of this type of meeting which we have often held at the beginning of the year in place of a lecture. For those less familiar, it is a meeting in which we encourage members old and new to bring and set up their telescopes and astronomy related equipment inside the hall. Members are then free to walk around in an informal environment to look at and discuss the equipment on display. Or perhaps to put it another way, a Telescope evening is actually our own WAS Astronomy Show! So please don’t be shy, the more you bring the bigger our show! So why now I hear you ask? Well in addition to facilitating what we hope will be a nice social evening, we also have something exciting to share! If you would like to find out what that something is, please bring yourself, your equipment, and your curiosity to Coleshill at 8pm on Wednesday 18th September and all will be revealed. We look forward to seeing you on the night.
