About the Event

Over the past 100 years unimaginable discoveries have transformed our understanding of cosmology.

These have led to new models of theoretical physics in an attempt to explain these discoveries.

It is said that no physicists in the world are currently satisfied with our explanations of cosmology.

This talk looks at how and why theoretical physics has evolved over the past century; the issues that still need to be resolved; and the implications regarding both the origin and future of the universe. About Mr Peter Goodhew Peter is a Fellow of The Royal Astronomical Society. a member of the British Astronomical Association and the Webb Deep-Sky Society. He has been photographing deep space since 2015. His images have been published in many publications including the BBC The Sky At Night, the British Astronomical Association, Sky and Telescope Magazine and Astronomy Now Magazine and Website any many more.
