About Dr Kate Pattle Dr Kate Pattle is Royal Society University Research Fellow and Proleptic Lecturer in the Astrophysics Group. Her research focusses on the role of magnetic fields in the star formation process, which she investigate using submillimetre-wavelength telescopes, primarily the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT) and the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA). is Royal Society University Research Fellow at University College London.
