I joined WAS because, from a young age, I've loved everything about space! Everyone has been incredibly welcoming and are always happy to answer my stupid questions (although, as they will all tell you, there are no stupid questions!). The amount I've learned in the few months I've been a member is staggering, because everyone here is so generous with their time, knowledge, and the extensive WAS library of every book on astronomy you could hope to get your hands on. Plus, they're all lovely to have a chat with!
Joining WAS has helped me to connect with people I would never have met, learn things I never would have learned, and reignite my interest in the universe around us.
